Types of Report

Criminal Matters
These are usually commissioned by defendant Solicitors, generally to assist drivers who have been accused of “Death by Dangerous Driving” or “Careless Driving Whilst Under The Influence of Alcohol”.

These are very serious matters and frequently require a thorough examination of all vehicles concerned, a visit to the scene of an incident, and a detailed report involving an analysis of all appropriate witness statements.

Other not so serious matters can be accusations of careless driving or failing to obey a red traffic signal. In many cases expert evidence can make all the difference.

Each and every case is individual and is treated accordingly. Our belief is that there is only one way to deal with a matter – thoroughly and carefully.

In all cases the expert is prepared to give his opinion in Court.

Civil Matters
There are a wide range of civil matter in which expert evidence is required. For the vast majority of cases the matter never gets to trial. It is necessary however to have a robust expert with thorough knowledge and confidence of a matter which is being reported upon. That expert must be prepared for a Court appearance.

If a matter is beyond our expertise we will endeavour to assist you to find a suitable expert.

This website will provide you with an idea of the range of expertise available.

Choosing an Expert
Fea Engineering Consultants has a policy of only advertising it’s services in publications where a vetting procedure is carried out. References are required from Solicitors or Barristers. No vetting – no advert.
